Yep, the caution played right into Mark's hands. Like I said on another forum, a win is win, no matter that another flag may be waving with the checkered one. Some of my favorite Ford drivers have lost before with a caution/finish, so the shoe fits either foot. For tomorrow's race (The 500), I would love to see a Ford victory, but my main thoughts, hopes and prayers are for a SAFE race.
Martin wins again, Toyota, GM and Dodge thankful that he is not running the full schedule. Mark hung tough last night and won, without the benefit of finishing under caution. Hey, when you're hot, you're HOT!!! That strange sound being heard at Calif. is the combined whining of the other truck-makers...
Yep, and he did it under a green flag and with 5 toys following, the two directly behind were team mates. Guess it doesn't matter if it finishes under a yellow or a green, the Ford took all the kahuna's and the toys didn't "eat him alive" as some may have thought!?!

Yes congrates to Mark and Ford for the 2 wins,, , now on a different note,,back in December or so they mentioned on Speed channel,,,that Ted Musgrave,,who was in a Dodge for 05'and won the Championship,,,,,was going to be driving a FORD in 2006,,,,,,But now I see he is in a TOY,,must have been some slippery Dealing going on in the off season !
Same motor as a cup car 750-800 hp 358ci Roush or Yates Ford motor and I think they run a 850cfm carb. As for the Musgrave deal, if my memory serves me correct Ford wasn't going to ante up as much as dodge in factory support so the owner decided to go with toy. I think that's it in a nutshell!

Anybody on here ever watch CORR (Championship Off-Road Racing)? They're getting ready to run there next season and it will be televised on Speed. A Ford guy started that series several years ago, but most makes are in it (Ford, chevy, nissan, and toy's, no dodges that I'm aware of though).
Now that's "real" racing, and nothing like these sugar-coated gmna$car "entertainment events" where the actual racing has taken a back seat to the big money, interviews, glitz, glimmer, etc. of several chevy drivers.
As for WRC World Rally, which ran on Speed last year, I'm not sure where they're being televised this year. Anyone got a clue!?!
BTW Ford teams, specifically Roush Fords, took all three gmna$car series (cup, busch, and trucks) with a win this past weekend at Cali Even though gmna$car favors chevy, they can't keep them Fords down.

Mark is awesome. Very good mannored fella. Speaks his mind when he needs to, yet he knows when to shut up. Very good driver also.
How do ya'll like those Roush Yates Fords? I think they run 360 blocks too dont they? Nevertheless, if it wasn't for the Ford 9 inch rear end, none of those trucks or race cars would be goin anywhere!
Back before Roush and Yates merged, I was able to tour the Yates engine plant and I met Doug and Robert. Then I had breakfast/lunch with Robert in his motorhome at the Talladega track. Very nice and professional group of people.
