Does anyone know if the following new Expy 2007 colors are used on any 06 or previous Ford models that I could see in a brochure?

Exterior: Carbon clearcoat metallic, Dark blue pearl clearcoat metallic
Interior: Stone, Charcoal black, Caramel accent

Or, if anyone has seen Carbon clearcoat, can you describe how it differs from the old Dark Shadow Gray (darker, lighter, etc.)? And how Stone differs from the old Flint Gray?

Any idea when the actual brochures will be out for the 2007 Expy?

I am waiting to see what the Carbon color looks like... trying to find out if Ford sends any promo photos, color chips or anything to dealers before the full brochure... or if Carbon has been used before on any other vehicle I could possibly see it on.

I am also hoping they at least keep the 0% going for a few months... Since the rebates will probably be slim on the 07s for a while.

The Dark Blue Pearl is used on several current production vehicles. I think the Carbon is brand new for Ford. GMC has a Carbon color for the Envoy, but no guarantees that Ford's will be the same color.

Not sure on brochures.

 

I found Carbon Metallic on the new 2007 Edge... I assume that if it were not the same color for Expedition it would not have the same name... is this a safe assumption?

Now I just need to find an example of Stone interior... not dark stone... not medium stone... just stone. Anyone know how it might compare to the old Flint Gray?

 

If the actual color code of G5 is the code for carbon on the Edge, then it will be the same color for the Expedition.

I'm not sure on the stone interior, I've seen a lot of different colors of stones in my lifetime.

I am also looking for some idea of what the seat colors will look like. I have seen the black and carmel and dont like it at all. I would like to see what the stone/camel looks like. Anyone have any idea where we can see pics?
