Rear main seal....

How difficult is it to change? I have to pull the trans for overhaul and at the same time address the appearantly rear seal leak. Leaves a half dollar dollop of oil at every stop. Thanks.....chris3

Edit: forgot to say it is a '95 300 six....chris3

Prob be a good time to change pan gasket and main seals. My oil pan needs painted in the worst way.

I suspect that you'll have a good time changing the seal, but it will be worth it, and this is a good time to do it. Nice and warm down there in TX.
