has n e one or is it possible to put a 5.4 in a regukar cab/bed 1997 f150 that has a 4.2 in it????? if so.. around how much would this cost... probably to much of a hassel???? let me know

About the only reasonable way to do this swap is if you have a complete donor truck.
You need the transmission, wiring harness, fuel lines, alternator, PS pump, PCM, exhaust etc.
Selling your truck and buying what you want is much easier and probably cheaper.

How much does it cost to swap like engines?
How much would a new 4.6 for an '01 cost?
