Help with GVWR for 1989 F350?

Going to try to register my 1989 F350 4X4 tomorrow at CT DMV. There are spaces on the registration form for gross weight and light weight. There is no sticker on the door or doorjamb. The VIN is 2FTHF36G7KCA27800. Help?

What does the title have on in it (from prev. owner)? Not sure if this will help,but in Md. GVW is kind of generalized;7,000,8,500,under 10,000,over 10,000, and so on.My '90 250 had 8,600 on the door so I had to register at under 10,000. (An extra $40-50 a yr.)

Unfortunately the title has no weight information either.
It says:
Make: Ford
Model: LGT CONV
Body Style: Pickup

Connecticut has a comprehensive combination plate fee schedule based on weight ranging from $83 for 3000 lbs to $245 for 10,000 lbs. I'm not as concerned with the $$$ as I am with the prospect of spending half a day in line to find I need additional information. Thanks.

Acording to the VIN breakdown in my Brand spanking new ford truck shop manual for 89 ford trucks, you have:
2FTHF36G7KCA27800
2ft=Ford Motor Co of Canada ltd
H = Class G 8501-9000 pounds
f36= f-series f350 4x4 regular cab
G = 7.5l 460 V8
7 = check digit
K = 1989
C = Ontario truck, Oakville Ontario
A27800= production sequence number

hope this helps

Thanks tmc and trg, mine is a single also. That falls right in line with info from the dealer based on the VIN. They gave me a range of 8,501 to 9,000 lb.

The End of the Story

I went to the MVD well prepared with a good range in mind to use for the GVW. There were five "tellers" at the windows. Four were regular folks and then there was Medusa, complete with snakes growing out of her head. Guess who I got? She was looking for a fight before I even got to the window.
It went like this:

Me: "Good Afternoon. (Side note, I drew my waiting number about 10:30am)
Here is my completed registration form, I would like to register a truck I just purchased"

Medusa: "You can't do anything without an insurance card"

Me: "Right... here is my insurance card"

Medusa: "You can't register without going through inspection with an out of State title"

Me: "I think, if you look, you'll find the title is from Connecticut"

Medusa: "I can't complete this registration without light weight and gross weight for the vehilcle. Is the truck here?

Me: "No...... It's not registered."

Medusa: "I guess we're done then" (She gathers up all my papers)

(I know I'm dead if I admit I'm guessing, so I open the owners manual to some innane section like "programming the radio")

Me: "Here it is", I announce, "5950 Light and 7950 Gross. Is that what you need?

Medusa reluctantly completed the deal and $330 later my truck is on the road!!! Chalk one up for the good guys.
