Extended Warranty questions/options

Extended Warranty questions/options
with the FTE purchase program, you are allowed to purchase an extended ford warranty as long as you do so before 3 years, or 36000 miles correct? Or must it be purchased immediately?
I have an 04 XLT i am in need of getting an extended warranty for.
If you want some humor, check out an oasis on my VIN, and you will see why i need one. Sure did screw myself over on this truck.
Also, by checking out my VIN on Oasis, can you recommend the best option (again, i may still purchase it though one of the 2 FTE dealers here correct? If so, whats the process?)
Thanks.

We need to know how many months and how many miles you'll feel you need. Keep in mind that the months start from the day it was sold new, and the miles are the total miles showing on the odometer. So, if you got a 6-year/ 72,000-mile extended warranty, it would run until 4/24/2010, or until you had 72,000 miles on the odometer. We also need to know what level of coverage you want. I'd recommend eiter the PremiumCare (virtually bumper-to-bumper), or ExtraCare (covers a lot, but not the high-tech items or the sound system).
