What do you drive?

I thought since we are a new group we should get to know each other a little better (until we meet in person).

There is a thread about our jobs already, so I'll ask: What do you drive?

Me? My daily driver is a 2001 ford explorer, control trac 4X4, 4.0 SOHC, 5R55E, 4.10 track-lock. I have only had it a little over a year now. I drove my 89 ranger for 16. My brother has it for his daily now.

My pride and joy is new to me. I have wanted a 1956 ford f-100 since I was 14. I was finally able to purchase one last November. Its all street legal now and a blast to drive. Y-block, 3 speed, 3.73 gears. Its all stock.

So...what do you drive?

Later,
Brian

Daily driver is the 01 F-250...lots of mods listed in my gallery. The 79 Bronco, 400, C-6, 205, 4" suspension and 35's....was my daily driver from 95-01....but kind of was forced into retirement when the big blue truck came around. I plan on getting her back up and running....preferably sooner than later.

The "project" vehicle is a 68 Mercury Montego with an s-code 390.....but it just sits in the barn collecting dust at present.

Oh, yeah...the wife drives a Windstar, but I hope to get her talked in to an Explorer once the youngest one is out of the car seat.

99 Ranger 2.5L and a 5spd. Now, I'm not ab power like horsepower, but I'm into powerful stereos. I hit 142 dB in my single cab Ranger. For those of you who don't know, thats ~ around the volume of a jet engine.

Not yet, but it has turned a fixed chip in my windshield into a crack that runs all the way across. I always have my windows down. It allows for more air space and it hits a lot harder that way. Yeah.... I'm one of those annoying kids that you can hear from a half mile away from either my exaust or my music.

Talking

OK!!!...I mine as well get in on this thread also.
FIRST OF ALL......yes I'm hard core FORD along with some of my closest friends.
My wife once said she wanted something else and she was served with divorce and eviction papers the next day!
My daily driver like I stated before :
It's a '94 full size Bronco with a 351w and a slightly modified E4OD tranny. Manual borg warner transfer case and manual mile marker hubs. (why manual? because push buttons are for whimps and with manual I know for shure it's in gear) still stock height which for a bronco still wasn't low to begin with, but looking for a possable lif kit in the near future. still have yet to install the f250 springs front and back. And i got a decent size mile marker winch that can conviently be used just about anywhere on the truck or my trailer. (thanks to some brainstorming with my bro Bulldog). the rest of the tid bits I'll leave for later. but it always seems that when we get together we always end up taking it. Good thing it still gets good gas miledeg at almost 300,000 miles.

And that is very soft for what I really want to do. (evil grin)
My other vehicals include my other baby my '70 Mercury Cougar which is tempararaly still almost completely origonal, with the 351c slightly modified and we shoved a c-6 behind it because a FMX just wouldn't cut the mustard. but we'll talk about that another time.
Then my wife has a 40th aniversity 2004 mustang. yes children it my be only a 6 banger but there are plenty of things to do there. (secrets I only share with my best friend)
And she also has but rarely drives....MY parts truck, a 93 Ford Ranger step side splash with the 3.0 v6 and a five speed. ( I love what kind of modifications you can do to a 3.0, but like I say.....another story...another time.)
And that is all I have at the current time that is street legal and uh any one should see out of my shop at the time.......(grins)

"If ya don't break nothin', then ya ain't haven' fun yet!!"
Catch ya'll on the flip side and hope it ain't burnt!

My dad has a 73 F250 with a built 390 in it. (if I'm not mistaken, it's a 390 FE block.)

I forgot....

Dana 60 rear end with a 3 speed manual.

There aren't any 390's that aren't FE's. Three on the tree is cool, we had a 71 with a three speed column shift.
