First off welcome.

you may get a better responce and better answer if you post this in the 2004+ F150 section of the board.

My guess would be mud, snow, ice in a rim. You could have thrown a weight but where it went away I really don't know. Bad tire? Rock(big rock) in tire?

I do know the 2004 F150 was getting complaints about the bed shaking and other vibrations. Don't know if it was totaly resolved but rear ends were replaced, tires and rims were replaced and drive shafts were replaced to pin point the vibration problem. I think one guy solved his proble of vibration with an aftermarket drive shafe. One thing to remember is that the 04+ F150 has a boxed frame as apposed to the older C frames so you will notice more vibrations with the stiffer frame.
