I Cross My Heart by George Straight. This is the song I should have played at my wedding- but didn't think about it until after...

How about some old-school "crossover" stuff?......

"Through the Years" (Kenny Rogers)
"Annie's Song" (John Denver)
"If you could read my Mind" (Gordon Lightfoot)

Just a short list......Sure their are others.....

You're The Inspiration - Chicago

Would have had this at my wedding, but a person would need to find a countertenor to sing it. Cetera has a very high (countertenor, also could be considered alto) voice.

Wife and I have the same song that's #1 to us. Our 35th will be in April. Driving down near Houston to see Mr. Rivers again on Feb. 18th. Front row center seats. My Valentines gift to her. He has many great love songs ...this is our favorite:

Slow Dancing (Swaying to the Music)
Johnny Rivers

It's late at night and we're all alone
With just the music on the radio
No one's coming, no one's gonna telephone
Just me and you and the lights down low
And we're

Slow dancing, swaying to the music
Slow dancing, just me and my girl
Slow dancing, swaying to the music
No one else in the whole wide world
Just you, girl

And we just flow together when the lights are low
And shadows dancing across the wall
The music's playing so soft and slow
And the rest of the world so far away and small
And we're

Slow dancing, swaying to the music
Slow dancing, just me and my girl
Slow dancing, swaying to the music
No one else in the whole wide world
Just you, girl

Hold me, hold me
Don't ever let me go

As we dance together in the dark
There's so much love in this heart of mine
You whisper to me and I hold you tight
You're the one I thought I'd never find

Slow dancing, swaying to the music
Slow dancing, just me and my girl
Slow dancing, swaying to the music
No one else in the whole wide world
Just you, girl
