Im planning on building a stroker 400M motor and have been searching for a single plane manifold. Was one ever made or do I have to make plates to adapt a 351C manifold

 

I don't believe anyone makes a single plane intake for the 351M/400. Weiand makes a spacer kit to adapt an intake from the 351C to the 351M/400. It's $109.95 from PAW.

 

Edelbrock made a single plane intake for the 351M/400. I just sold one on a 351M that I had in my Pickup. I think it was a streetmaster intake. I don't know if they still make one or not. I didn't really care for the design though. It had narrow rectangular ports. With a little work, I suppose they could be ported to match the 351M intake ports.

Robert, if you don't mind our asking, why are you looking for a single plane ? They really aren't very truck friendly. What is this engine going to be asked to do ? DF
