89 2.9 Bronco II to 4.0 Engine swap

Is there a wiring harness that will work with the 4.0 and still plug into the round plug on the 89 Bronco II?

I am installing a 4.0 from a 1994 Explorer into an 89 Bronco II. Or will I have to get dirty with the cutting and splicing of the wiring to make it work? I have the computer ans some wiring from the 94 Explorer.

Thanks

I am curious about this too. Also, what else will I need to modify?

Did you do your swap yet?
I did a 1991 4.0 into a 1987 BII, that you can see on my website, but I was wondering also if the 1990 Bronco II had the wiring setup for a easy swap from a 1991 4.0. I have both vehicles and plan on starting that after I swap in another 91 4.0 into my 94 Explorer. Which I hope to start this week if my donor engine ever gets pulled. I have one 4.0 on the way for my 94 Explorer, and a 1991 Explorer donor vehicle for my 1990 Bronco II swap.

I wanted to bump this back to the top because I have a lead on a couple of '94 explorers and I'm looking to swap the 4.0 into my '89 B II. Wireing compatibility is my main concern.

My 4.0L into B2 swap is here, if you want to take a look at it.
