Lightbulb cylinder misfire

This question is actually for my 3.8L 2000 mustang. I recently had the car to autozone and I got three different readings from the diagnostic test. I have a misfire on cylinder 2, lean running condition, and egr valve malfunction. I replaced the egr probably 70,000 miles ago and the engine light never went off, I dont know if it just never worked right or if the code has to be cleared for it to go away. Due to my inexperience I only changed the valve and I learned now that I should have cleaned the parts that lead up to the valve. Will a bad egr flow cause my other two problems?

While it is possible, it is unlikely.

Please post the exact DTCs received for better assistance.

It is possible the code for the egr flow was not your valve, as many here have found out. It's usually the sensor that monitors egr flow, called a "DPFE" sensor. It's available at your Ford dealer for about $25-$35 depending onl your dealer. The f-150's actually had a recall or TSB on that part, but I had replaced mine already and was too lazy to do the paperwork to get my money back. You should be able to find some threads here about it, either under "EGR valve", or the code it shows on your scan.
