What exactly are the Fuel Pump and the SIG-RTN plugs used for?

You can ground the fuel pump pin to force the fuel pumps to turn on. This aids in testing fuel pump problems. The SIG-RTN is the sensor ground circuit for the computer sensors. You jump the STI to the SIG-RTN to force the computer into the self diagnostic tests.
