I ended up using 3 gallons on my 00 LB SD. The recomended gallon and a half or whatever it was i didnt feel was even close to being thick enough. I double prepped my truck bed and after 2 years it looked like it was getting really thin on the front of the bed when i pulled the tool box out before I traded it and that surface never got used for anything.. Within a couple months it had turned grey, even the part behind the tool box was grey and it had hardly no exposure to the sun,,Maybe a week before i put the tool box in after i finished it.
At the time i was still racing motorcross so had bikes in the bed pretty often and the liner was worn thru and had several gauges after 2 years. If i had it to do over again i would get a Line X,rhino or something else besides the herculiner.

We pulled all the interior out of a Hunting jeep and did the floorboards and all the inside and it still looks good after about 3 years or so. Herculiner works for some things, but not the bed of a truck, one that gets used anyway...

I used it on my 1994 F-150 SB. Worked great!

I prepped mine with a wire brush and a high grit belt from a belt sander (yeah it hurts to do it to your baby, but it works great)!
Purchased some rubbing alcohol (your clean up)and some lacguer thinner (bed prep). prepped the bed in the sun at 85* here in Ohio on a low humidity day. Took it inside the garage and did it. Results were awesome. My brother still raves about it everytime he sees one of his buddies rhino'ed beds. Has never cracked bubbled or peeled!
I did my utility box on my trailer, thenmy trailer, and actually trying to find a good price on it so I can do my G/F jeep. I love the stuff.
I thought about doing my brush guard and nerf bars with it!
