I don't think you'll find a specific Ford code for Forest Service green. If you contact the Forest Service, they may be able to get you the manufacturer's paint code they use on their fleet vehicles. Your best be what 53fatfndr suggested - get a bunch of color swatches in green from Home Despot or Lowes and find one that's a good match. Then have your local PPG dealer custom mix whatever you need.

Hey guys... I work for the Forest Service when the Army does'nt have me on active duty. I've been with them for 23 years and my Dad and several uncles either worked are are still working for them now as well. I have FS green in my blood - that's A POS, but not going to help you much with the paint code!!
If you are looking for the light green code, just stop by a FS maintenace shop - the shop guys will have several cans of paint in the paint storage locker - you'll find the code there - just remember, with the world siuation being what it is with terrorism, the FS (and all government agencies) have concerns about people posing as government officials - they may not give up that code very quickly.
As for historical FS paint, from the late 1930's (CCC days) through the early to mid 1960's, the paint was a very dark green - "forest green" with two thin white pin strips just below the level of the mirrors. The FS shield on the doors were rather large in those days as well - measured approx 12"H x 8"W.
Of course, I have an eye for old FS trucks and on nearly all that I have found, I can spot the FS sheild and pin strips location by looking in the right light and at the right angle - even on trucks that have been repainted. Ya got to remember that most FS surplus vehicle sold for relatively low $$ as the Mt roads where pretty rough on them - most surplus vehicles that are repainted typically have a quick prep and spray job on them making it easy to see the old logo lines - just was not worth investing high $$ into a nice paint job.
Long and short - The light green on your 58 would not indicate an orignal FS vehicle - could have been painted that color at a later date!
I see that you are in WV. The Monogahela National Forest has it Supervisor's Office in Elkins and would be your best bet for the Forest Maint. Shop - they also have offices in Parsons, Richwood, Bartow, White Sulpher Springs and Petersburg that could steer you in the right direction.
