A/C clutch change out

How difficult is it to replace the A/C clutch on a 1997 PSD F-250? Mine squeals when I first start it. I am assuming that's what the problem is.

You sure it's not a weak belt tensioner and the belt is slipping?

I'm pretty sure it is the clutch. When you 1st start it up with the hood open there is no doubt where the noise is coming from. I have gave it a shot of silicone spray once and the noise stopped...for a while. I called the Ford dealer and they quoted me a price of $350 to replace it. The clutch at NAPA is almost $200. It might be worth it to just let them fix it since I have never had replaced one and probably don't have the pullers are whatever I need anyway.

Ok, yeah. Get it fixed ASAP. If it siezes you'll have a lot more money to spend to get it fixed.
