Ford OEM Factory Alarm with Remote Start Gold System...

Does this item have the diesel delay starting?

Kit Includes:
  • 2 Remotes
  • Alarm w/shock sensor
  • Remote start w/pats
  • Starter kill
  • Flashing lights
  • LED
  • Full installation manual for your vehicle
  • Hood bypass
Kit numbers are:
  • 2W7Z-19G364-DA - REM START / DELUXE
  • 2W7Z-19G364-HA – MODULE
Then it says for the remote start I will need one of the following pats bypass.
(1 pats module included)
  • 1L3Z-19G365-AB – PATS MODULE
  • 1L2Z-19G365-AB – PATS MODULE
  • 1S4Z-19G365-AB – PATS MODULE
Which one of those do i need and what is a PATS bypass?

What is the retail on this?

I have the 2006 250 diesel.

Yes. It has a built in diesel timer that can be turned on, that will delay the start function for 30 seconds after the system turns the ignition on.

You don't need a PATS(Passive Anti-Theft System) bypass. SD's don't come with PATS. PATS uses the "chipped" keys. Which of course we don't have.

I have no idea what retail is on one of these systems.

I actually just found this link... this is very cool

http://www.gemsen.com/ford/Pdf/101825_8_Gold_Owners.pdf

Then if you truncate that link, you get this one...

http://www.gemsen.com/ford/
Which may be even cooler.
