When the car is cold sometimes the cruise won't engage. The dash indicator light will flash on, then off instantly. I have tried to lift the brake pedel with no good results. Where would I begin looking? This happened once last year and now twice in the recent monts. This is a 99' Expoder with 70,000 miles.

Check it out. Sounds like your cruise servo might be failing as well. Mine only has 38k miles on it though!
