What Keeps You Coming Back?
To kind of go along with this thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=454253 I was wondering what keeps you coming back to FTE?
I come EVERYDAY and usually at least 2 times (more on the weekends and if I am not working). It's not JUST the truck stuff that keeps me coming back. It is the community that has been formed by users.
I mean would you honestly come here JUST to talk trucks? Ya, for a while. But what keeps you here are your "friends". And yes you are ALL my friends.

Think hard Gentlemen............Some of the fun can be a little harsh, but we all get along nicely & manage to get by without the nasty, bitter comments that other forums have every day.
Now the challenge is to get our collective schlitz together & take the award for most members in attendance at Arthur.

I can't really explain it, I just like all you guys better than I like anyone else I meet. And by "all you guys" I mean the general FTE community as well as the Ontario chapter. I come as often as I can, a few times or more a week and like spin, I always read the posts even if I don't add anything.
I'll be at Arthur as long as I'm in town. Hopin' to be long haul by then ...

I stop in for a read almost everyday. FTE is set up as my homepage so I always cruise through this chapter and the folks over in Manitoba/Sask. Once in awhile I stop at the garage workshop forum or 73-79. I like the truck stories the best and checking out what folks are doing with their rides, pictures etc.

I found FTE after googling for transmission information. I felt like I found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! Since then I poke around the Garage-workshop forum and the 73-79 forum. The engine forum when I need to.The Ontario forum was an after thought but to me it's become like the lounge or break room. Like Al said, some of the other forums have some confrontational folks with strong opinions. The Ontario chapter is more relaxed. You have a good chance of meeting people you post with. We can relate better to issues like gas prices, insurance, gov., and the lack of rust free parts or trucks. I even met Al(dealford), who is actually not a bad guy, and almost met chad(loudfords). All the Jabs are in fun and meant bring a smile to your day. I look forward to meeting others and helping out if/when I can. I guess it's a sense of community.

I like to check in and welcome the new members and check out whats new here on the forum.Once in a while i like to help others in the tech section too. This is the best place to be when im not busy on other things and try to relax here and surf. Matt you are doing a good job here keeping things running on the FTE and the ONTARIO CHAPTER.
