shift kit

Anybody have a shift kit intsalled on there bronco with the e40d I have found two I was looking at one is a B&M for 31.00 and the other is from Transgo EDO4-HD2 for 65.00 I never heard of the transgo before and wanted to know if anybody has used one and am I comparing apples to apples.

Is that B&M unit the electronic thing?? It sounds cheap enough to be. If it is, stay away from it! The only good shift kit is the one you physically pull the pan to install.

No it a regular B&M shift kit (you have to drop the pan) I just didn't know about the transco brand shift kit it suppose to be a heavy duty shift kit for 4x4 and rv use but I never herd of them.

I have heard of Transgo......I never heard anything bad about them......but I didn't know they made a shift kit for Broncos w/E4OD's.

Smile go with the transgo

go with the transgo they have alot of experience with the aods and have alot of other parts to to beef up the aod and eaod the b&m kit is ok and have installed them before pretty easy they will give you much firmer shifts but if the trans is acting wierd or slipping look for a rebuild becouse these kits will not help or satisfy good luck check out there link http://www.txchange.com/tgp.htm have heard alot of good things about them.

Thanks,No slippage at all thats why I want to install a shift kit and trans cooler to keep this tranny around for awhile firm shifts and less heat.
