Trany extention housing
I was reading my manual and noticed this picture:
Is that true about the trany? The 4x4 ans Super Duty have the same extention housing?

the superduty has a differnt housing and the tail shaft is differnt on the 6speed, i wish it was the same so i could use the OBS t case with the 6 speed swap

I'm wanting to replace my E4OD with a 5 speed. According to the picture the tail shaft it the same for a Super Duty as a 4x4. Is that true?

yeah the 5 speed will go right where the e40d was. if you wanted a 6 speed theres alot differnces
