electrical problem with 1969 F-100
Need Assistance!! Son crossed wires on the ignition relay and have not been able to start truck since! We have replaced the following:
starter
electronic ignition
relay switch
coil
ignition switch
All to no avail - when the key is turned on there is power but starter will not turn. We have bypassed the relay and connected the starter directly to the starter and the starter works but once everything is back together we get nothing.
My husband is at his witts end so any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!!!

Ok, on the solenoid there should be two big posts and one or two little ones. The START wire (the one from the ignition switch) should go to the "S" terminal on the relay/solenoid (the little S terminal that is), and it may be a fusible link so beware, if it popped then you'll need to replace it.
