Obviously you don't have a clue of the differences in friction modifiers between Mercon, and Mercon V, and that's the reason you can't use a
multi-purpose ATF. It can't meet this requirement for both!!!!
Wow,Bob!
You definitely have a woodie for Amsoil.
Obviously many have used their products and haven't had a problem.
Myself included.
Amsoil has been around for around 35 years.
I've checked other forums and Amsoil trans fluid works well with Ford vehicles which require Mercon V.Will not work with the new Mercon SP and they say it on their site.
I've used Amsoil trans fluid in an expedition I owned without a problem and sold it with 109K miles.
Multilevel marketing does make costs high but it doesn't mean the product isn't good.
I don't use their oils because Mobil 1 is cheaper and everywhere.
However I want a 100% synthetic trans fluid and only a few companies make it and Amsoil is the one I choose to use..
