im new to this forum and my 97 4.2 f 150 is acting wierd. in the last week, i was driving down a road about 55 mph and it died, cranked it over nothing, about 2 hours later it starts right up no problems. now today drove to work to get my pay check, come out to start my truck cranks like crazy but it does fire. i have replaced the coil pack, checked fuses, replaced relays. i think its a fuel problem. i talk to a ford mechanic and siad that the fuel pump will work or it wont work. so i dont know of anything else. Can someone help me out. thanks ryan.
