Superduty 5.4l supercharger

My cousin is wanting to supercharge his '04 superduty with the 5.4l but everywhere he has called they say they dont make a kit for his truck. I know that some of you have supercharged your trucks, but he cant find anyone who has one for his truck. any suggestions?

You can check out Roush (an FTE Sponser too )
http://www.roushperf.com/

I am not sure who else makes a supercharger for the 3V 5.4.

Justin_tractors,

Trilogy Motorsports is a sponser of this site and offers a 5.4L 3V supercharger kit. You can check out the kit at www.trilogymotorsports.com. If you have any questions at all you can direct them to me since I work at Trilogy.

Justin_tractor,

I am sure that the superduty computer is different. What happens with our kit is that the computer gets reflashed with new settings that we program into a SCT xcaliber flash tuner. I talked to our head of operations and he assured me that it would work as long as it is a 5.4L 3V engine. Here is the website which explains the SCT tuner in more detail. http://www.sctflash.com/faqs.php. If I can be of any more assistance please don't hesitate to respond or call at 313-336-6135.

Justin, a lot of the other vendors haven't put any time or effort into the calibrations for the other trucks and platforms that the 5.4L 3V fits into, we have. F250, F150, Lincoln Mark LT and Navigator, Expedition....All can be done without issue.

Justin,

No worries. We are all enthusiasts here at Trilogy and we all like to help people make the right decision. If you or your cousin would like to call us with more questions feel free @ 313-336-6135. Or you can ask away here and we can hopefully give you enough insight. Good luck.

92f150I6,
After numerous calls to dealers and conflicting answers we believe you are correct about the 04 sd being a 2v. We are currently waiting to hear back from a ford engine designer about this. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Ok, I'll bite. Didn't the do away with the 2V in the 03 MY? I'm guessing based on what was said here that the 2V was kept around for the SD's?

The 3V made it into 04MY F150 production and 05MY SD production.
