Which coil for duraspark?

Have 86 f-150, was 302EFI. Am installing stock carbed 302 with duraspark distributor (Cardone 302899) and ignition module (Motorcraft DY893 "blue").

What type of coil is best? Have TFI coil from old 302EFI, and several "can type" coils from different years.

I did a search; still confused. Looking for stock, not high performance.

You can tell a duraspark coil because it has pins instead of threaded studs for the elect connections. There is a big plastic "u" piece that plugs into it. There are some electrical differences in the coils, so it's a good idea to get the right one.

Make sure you add the resistor in the + coil circuit too.

OK, I have one of those from an 85 6 cylinder, and can get the resistor wire from the same place. Thanks.
