Guys,

This thing is a bit too new for my liking but I thought one of you big truck guys may be interested.

There was an early to mid 1900's industrial/oil themed resturaunt down here that is closing and has been sold to a developer. The guy is going to auction off everything but is trying to sell what he can before the auction. In his collection of stuff are a number of old trucks, At least 1/2 dozen. Some are Fords, some are not. Everything is gated off so I could not get a real good look but, one thing I did see was an old Sinclair oil tanker truck. Looked to be a 53-56 and probably an F-600. It's in pretty decent shape. I am supposed to call the guy back on Thursday to arrange a visit on Thursday or Friday. Right now, I'm just going to look out of curiousity. If any of you guys are interested in this thing please let me know. He did say that it had been restored (and it appears that it had been) and was driven to where it sits a number of years ago. MY guess is at least 5 years ago but I can try to find out more. Darn kids have busted out some of the winddows but the cab and fromt clip appear to be straight and rust free. Engine is in it and as I was told, it may run.

Also, the guy has a 39 Ford p/u, not sure what condition. Most of what is there is big truck stuiff but there are at least two 1/2 tons and I don't think anyone is asking about this stuff yet. If there is interest, I can swing by tomorrow to get some pictures from behind the fence.
