clutch pedal

pedal goes to floor and stays there is this the slave or the clutch?

Usually it's a problem with the hydraulic system, could be the clutch master or slave. If the pedal's on the floor, is the clutch still engaged? What happens if you manually pull the pedal back up? Does it stay up on it's own, and when you press it to the floor again is there normal clutch resistance, or does it just drop easily?
