Does your significant other like your Ex?

I am talking about the SUV not past romances! My wife was a little leery of mine at first but now I can't keep her out of it.

Talking

I just bought my first super duty pickup( F350 crew cab, long box, 4x4)and my wife is jealous. The first time she drove it, she came home and said " Have you seen any Excursions on Ebay lately?" Now she is ready to sell the Suburban and get herself an Ex. Hopefully it won't take too long so I can keep my Super Duty to myself.

I thought about this question for a bit... And then the answer was obvious.

I deployed to Iraq in September. The day I left, my wife's Explorer was parked in our garage. It hasn't moved since. She has driven my Excursion every day.

That should answer the question nicely :-)

When I first dated my wife I had the 99 F250 diesel and she had a 95 5.8 Bronco which she thought was so cool until she started driving the pick up. Day's I didn't work she demanded use of the truck! Two years later I bought her a 2000 Excursion Limited 4x4 diesel and she just loves it!!! She's asked me about putting exhaust and a chip in it even!

Both vehicals are very similiar but yet seem so different. The X is must quieter and rides smoother and turns much sharper than the F250 which have build dates of only 6 months between them. When I drive the X after thousands of miles in the F250 the X seems smaller from the driver seat for some reason.

I end up driving the Honda Civic all the time because the Diesel Excursion
Quote from wife: (She does whine about the straight piped exhaust being to load at drive-thru food joints....)

"Is such a safer and better car to haul the 3 kids around in...especially if I have to take friends of thiers, and there is room for toys, and I feel like I am protecting the baby so much better compared to that tin-can car you got me.....you take the car dear...me and the kids need the Ex...., but hey dear...can you take the ex this evening to pick up dinner and fill it up with diesel again for me...I ran all the fuel out of it again...."

My wife didn't care for mine at first, and still doesn't. She has driven it twice in the year I've had it.

My wife hates it...calls it a school bus and generally will not drive it unless absolutely necessary. She's ok on interstate drving with it, but otherwise declines....

My wife loves my '05 PSD Limited. But she likes her 04 Ram 2500 with the Cummins diesel more. Thinks the Cummins is stronger and sounds better than the Navistar....too spoiled...
