amsoil makes a brake cleaner that will knock you out. used it on m tdi intake. after emptying the can and letting it soak it got taken to the car wash for a power cleaning. the amsoil just ate away the sludge build up. i don't sell it but i am a proponent.
that was at 40k and the intake was down to little finger air hols size. almost 60k later it is tiome to do it again.
