1957 F100 Grille on a 1959 F100?

Just wanted to know if it were possible to put a 57' grile/hood onto a 59'. I like the hood of the 59', but the grille of the 57'. Im getting a 1959 F100 tomorrow for my newer F250 and it has some front end damage. I need to replace a fender, the grille and hood anyway so Im exploring my options.
Thanks

I don't know for sure but here are some thoughts. You may have to change the fenders and gravel pan also. The 59 and 60 fenders had different fronts from 57 and 58. You also may get interference with the hood since the 59 hood dipped down and the 57 was straight across. Good luck

OK, kinda what I was thinking. Are the fenders and such hard to get a hold of?

You can get fenders in the junk yards of the southwest for the 57-60's. They are going faster, but the still exist. John's F100 can also get them for you.

The '57 grille and '59 hood shouldn't have any clearance issues. I think I've seen that combination before.

I believe the '59 fenders, valance, and parking lights will work with the '57 grille. It just won't look the same as '57. If you want the round '57 parking lights, then you'll need to change the fenders and valance to the '57-'58 style.

Mainly I like the 57' grille better. So you think it will fit? I dont want to do any drilling or cutting so I can maybe change back later. I was hoping the grilles could just be swapped, but like I said it has some damage and needs new sheet metal anyway.

57 grille will bolt on, not sure if the headlight assembly just plugs in though since your going from quad lights to just a pair. -4speed

Well I think you could hook up the '57 lights to the plugs for the outer headlights, right? They're both hi/low-beam combos. I guess the high-beam-only plugs would remain disconnected.

Talking

Yeah, that should be fairly simple. Anyone know where to get a set of lowering spindles?
