Why not buy the part from FORD, fix it your self ,then seek reimursement for parts AND
labor as if you had the repair done proir to the recall . Your recall letter even states you can do this if repair had already been done prior to the recall.

 

Dealers have had the part in stock for a couple months now. I can't imagine a dealer still not having them.
