I have the Roady 2 and clip it to the AC vent and move it from the truck to the car to the house. Pretty portable.

The second glove box. Just velcroed to the back of it and wired to stereo power. Close the box and there's noting to see.

I put mine on that square outline on the dash just to left of the radio. I used that super stick swivel pad.

That is were I was thinking of putting mine since I have the manual shift transfer case. How well does that swivel stick thing work, fairly steady?

I put mine next to the power port, using the super stick swivel base. The power cord then plugs into the power port. there is a little interference with the drink holder, but hey thats what the swivel base is for.

I used this. Works great, very sturdy, and positions the Roady2 angled toward the driver.

Check my gallery for pictures of my XM2GO radio in my SD/Excursion.

Did not have to remove any dash panels to do so.

Also check out:

Good luck.

Here is my install, its a skyfi2, but you get the idea. Same bracket as mentioned above. It was like 20 bucks at best buy, 20 minute install, works great. You can see where I had it originally by the stick on mount over by the passenger vent. I need to get that off there.

The panavise.com mount (number 751072399) and the swival adpater (number 685-PM) is what I used. No dash removal necessary as it connects on the left-side screw of the cupholder/ashtray of a Super Duty & Excursion.

Pictures are in my gallery.
