5.4L Possible Service

Fellas,

I have a 99 5.4l Super Duty with 125k on the clock. I have noticed that is has unique kind of valve notice to the truck under acceleration. It is not a pinning or a knocking noise it almost sounds like a diesel but not very throaty or deep tuned. It kinda sounds like a churrning noise?? It runs great, but i was wondering what you all thought..... Do any of you 5.4l owners experience the same sounds?

Please let me know... Thanks

The superduty exhaust configuration makes them sound that way. Our F250 5.4L @ work has sounded like that since new. The F150's don't have that raspy sound.
