Ugh...Leave it to GM to screw with the appeal. When is GM going to start designing vehicles that don't look like something that just died?
If GM wants to work at getting in better fiscal shape...shouldn't they be producing vehicles with appeal...I mean, who thinks this thing looks good?
Same with the Suburban...

The first car I had with the radio antenna hidden in the glass was a 73 Impala. Radio didn't pick up very well at all. I currently have a Town Car with the antenna hidden in the glass (Chevy in the WS and Lincoln in the back glass). 25 years and they still haven't figured out it doesn't work very well. If you can't see an external antenna, plan on CDs.

I must say the GMC is UGLY but the chevy version is appealing. If I had $40k to drop on a vehicle like that, that would win out over the Expedition in my book. My problem with Ford is too many cars ans trucks look like eachother. The F-150, Freestyle, Explorer, Expedition, and to some extent the Ranger all have the basic nose and body lines.

Yet, they are both still losing money???? I just don't understand how we are going to be able to afford cars or trucks if this trend continues. I read an article on the 10 anniv. of the Expy, they test drove a King Ranch, the sticker was $49K!!!!! Heck, even used cars are expensive now, unless they have 150K miles on them. Ok, I am done, I don't like the look of the GMC either.

I'm not kidding myself...I know the market for these is huge, and they lead it by quite a fare bit...but the previous exterior design was so much better then this. The cosmetics on these vehicles are too much for me, seems to be the general consensus here too. I don't know if it's me... but the way a vehicle looks is very important to me.
