I tried putting some early 90's Bronco seat frames in my 96 F-150 and the floor pan isn't anywhere near the same. The frame would only touch the floor at 2 points.

...But I also have a manual and the floor might be different anyways.

I have installed Explorer seats in my 92 F150 Regular cab by removing the Explorer seat mounts and mounting the seats to my bucket seat frame. The holes lined up perfect. If you are asking whether the 92 Bronco seat mounts will work in an F-Series cab, I do not believe they will. I tried this first in my regular cab F150 and it wouldn't fit the contour of the floor. If the Bronco seats are not powered you should be able to do the same thing I did as long as you have the F-Series bucket seat frame.

Good Luck,

Nothing like bring up a old dead thread but what you have done im trying to do.
I got a 93 f150 with a bench seat and a set of very nice bucket explorer seats with a lead to a full sized bronco seat tracks to mount to but the question was really not answered if they will or will not work in a 93 f150...............So has any one know if the tracks are interchangeable or better yet have a lead to 93 f150 bucket tracks i could use.
Any idea's are welcomed
Thanks
Joey

Many custom vans had captains chairs that swiveled in them. Look in local junkyards or on craigslist maybe.

I have the same set up sitting in my garage waiting for me to get ambitious enough to install. 03 Explorer seats...perfect shape, 91 F250 Supercab bucket seat tracks, complete. All sitting there, waiting for me to piece them together. I think all I will need to do is drill two holes per side for each track and they will bolt in...only thing I am not sure of is if there is a difference between the S-cab floor and the reg cab at the seat mount points. Maybe someone can chime in and tell me if this stuff will work as I think?

What is off with the passenger's side? What would need to be done to make that one work? Spacer, holes, what exactly? Thanks!

Not sure if it helps, but I installed a set of mid-90's Exploder seats into my '86 Bronco. It required me to drill a few holes. IIRC, the front holes matched up but the rears didn't. I'd be willing to bet that most E-line, F-series, and Bronco seats are swapable given a little creativity/fiddling. The thing I'd look out for is the height of the swivel seat's mounitng bracket. I'd imagine you'd have to mount that into your cab to get the swivel portion to work correctly, and I'd wager it's a tad higher than the standard mounts. I'm sure the seat will clear the roof, but it might cause some clearence problems for your legs/thighs...

Angain, just a thought. Hope it all goes well for ya.
