I have a 78 4x4 f250 with a 460/C6. At some point durning the trucks life, the transmission kickdown linkage was removed. Where is the kickdown linkage supposed to hook up to the trans? Does anybody have a pic?

 

I plan on hooking mine back up some day as well. I have a 77 highboy 351m c6 parts truck laying out at the edge of my yard which still has the linkage on it. I'll try to get you a pic as soon as I can. With work the way it's been. It will probably be a day or 2 though. It's always dark when I get in and when I leave.

I've got a 770 Truck Avenger Holley that I'm wanting to install on my 460 and when I do, I'm wanting to hook the passing gear rod back up. Send me your email if you can. I don't think I can post pics on here. I've tried before.

I,m back to this project again. Do you have a pic of the the kickdown lever in relation to the neutral safety switch. I think I might be missing something on the truck.

I bought a Locar kickdown, but I don't see where to hook it up.
