Question Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo ?'s

I'm looking at maybe getting some Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires. Are you guys that have used them happy with them? Where is the cheapest place to but them? Their $175 a piece on TIRERACK.com. The one thing I don't like is there is no road hazard warranty available. I need some advice on this tire or something else as soon as possible. I need to get tires bought this week because my factory Pirellis are just about gone. Thanks!

They could be the best truck tires for wet roads, much better than my Wranglers before. One thing I noticed is that because of its tread, gravel and small rocks will stick in at low speed (I drive quite a bit on such roads) and will dislodge at higher speed. Discount tire does offer road hazard warranty, and their prices are reasonable.

Does Discount Tire have a website? I've never heard of them before.

I had them on my 96 4x4 blazer and i replaced them with a house brand tire. I should have stayed with the dueler for the higher price . They handled alot better! I also had a pair of 33,s on the back of my 68 2wd. They were a awesome.

They are mostly a brick & mortar outlet, but they do have a website, www.tires.com. However, I don't see Bridgestone/Firestone products on their website, even though I got my set of Revos from one of their stores barely a month ago.

In any case, in my opinion, it's best to get a tire from a local store or chain because that makes handling warranty or road hazard problems much easier.

I am on my second set of dueler A/T revos. The first set was on a truck that got wrecked. These are pretty much the best tires I've ever had. I got mine at Costco for about $115 a piece installed. The size was LT235/75R15. The LT tires were about $10 more than the P rated tires. More load carrying capacity.

Thanks for the info. I'm dead set on getting these tires. What PSI are you guys running to get good tread wear? Can I expect 35-40,000 miles out of them? Thanks

I've got about 25k on mine, and I expect to get at least 60k or 70k out of them based on the tread that's left.

I run 35 psi front & rear, but I'll put 40psi in the rear if I've going to be towing or hauling anything.

38/38 here with a 1/2 ton. Note well, the attainable mileage depends a lot on alignment, and the type of axle you have. With my previous set of tires I didn't rotate them for a long time (like 40k ) but then it was too late. Because of the TTB axle, I got a wear pattern that looks similar to a badly overinflated tire on the front tires. (I run 40/40 with the previous tires, 5 psi over the manufacturer's recommendation) With these, I'll rotating them whenever I do an oil change (~5,000 miles) so hopefully they will wear more evenly.

Well I finely got my new REVOs mounted and balanced. These are by far the best tires I've ever owned. They look way better than the factory Pirellis. Now if it would just snow.

I love my revo's too. If you want snow come to Massachusetts. We have had bunches this year. We had a nasty storm over the weekend and they laid about a gizzillion tons of salt on the roads. Look at what it does to a nice truck.
