go ahead and try the deep holes, we can always pull you out.. ....those hills are furthur down river, and its all loose sand and dirt....i couldnt get up the first 4 tries, i kept bottoming out halfway up(you can see where just to the right of the pathfider in the climbing pic) so i moved over and made it up..........i was thinking, there might be a back way around that a 2wd could get down to some of the lower parts and back out again....that area is more suited for 4 wheelers and dirtbikes, its fun to cruise around in the rice x 4's though...

It appears that my 81 has more ground clearance that your rice x 4. Did you ever try climbing the hill at a slight angle? I know sometimes that helps. My 81 has climbed some pretty good hills that I didn't think it would (Even with my 31" street tires ). If the backway trials are in similar size to a couple I have at my house for my 4-wheeler, your Pathy should be able to go through (I even had my 81 through the little trail at my house). I may have to go up there sometime.

I have nothing to lose if I get stuck.........since I'm only 2wd. I think my 2wd will flex as much as the Zook. I need a job so I can go out and play.

Ive been down there many of times in my 81 f100 which at the time was 2 wheel drive, since then Ive converted it to 4x4 and dropped in a 302 which Im still upgrading for a few more ponys. Theres plenty of ways to get there with a 2 wheel drive. I know I used to go fishing down there all the time. Big cats down there. Ive been stuck one time down there and that was in dry sand, next to the river. Was out there doing some late night fishing and when morning came me and my bud had to walk back to del city to get his ride LOL. It was alot of fun. If you like to jump and bajha or however go to the east side and theres a creek there cant go any further, and head back west near the bottom of the rock levy, plenty of holes and mud there as well. Cant wait to get my ride running again, Ill have to come and play.

yeah i know where your talking about, im thinking about trying to get past that ravine when i get the ford going....we found a couple mud holes right by the bridge( the ones in the pics) that are pretty fun...we also like crossing the river just below the dam then going east, there are some trails back in there a ways....last weekend a lady out there told us her husband followed the southside of the river all the way to harrah.....might have to try that sometime....

hey carl, I got some neighbors that you should meet (I am sure you already have) one has a silver ZOOK, the other has a black one. both are jacked up and most usually covered in mud!!! hey, for all I know one of them could be YOU!!! I'm sure you'd remmber my truck sitting at the corner house if you indeed are one of these fellas.

haha, that's pretty cool. I haven't had the guts to go down the street to meet them, as I don't have anything in common with them, really. they also sport some pretty stout 'stangs, or atleast the sound really good.

yeah, but his buddie's black (with blue ghost flames) I am sure could stomp it. unless all the paint weighs it down. and 12's for a moderately modded 'stang is damn good.

if you ever go over there, stop in and say hi, I'm litterally just up the street!
