Pcv

Just purchased 01 Expedition 5.4, 59000 mile. Tested and drove great. Two days later started hesistating on accerlation at any speed. Idle and accel is great. Can't get a scan until Tuesday. Meanwhile, I have been reading this site and trying what I can until I can check for codes. I have read a lot about PCV leaking at an elbow at the back of the motor. I go outside to check and I do not have a PCV in the motor. It is an open hole. There are no lose or disconnected hoses or lines anywhere. I checked for 30 minutes and I do not have a clue where the line would go if the PCV was there. I need to add that the previous owner had installed a K&N air system. Any help is appreciated.
I also pulled all the COPs and checked the resistance and everything is up to specs.

It goes into the rear of the intake elbow behind the throttlebody.
