is there some way of telling what the intake on my 390 came off of the numbers are c5ae94250 any suggestions on a carb who ever had this truck before me put a Q jet off a Cxxxy on it and it has to go

I would suggest it was for a 65 /66 full size Ford.
Like a Galaxie. That's what the *A* usually stands for(car line).

does it have a big "S" on the front left hand intake runner while facing the engine from the front. if it does than it's a 390GT intake. Odds are though that it's just a standard 4v intake
