78 Cab to 75 Chassis harness interchange

Good day all- I have a 78 F150 Supercab cab that I dropped on my 75 F100 Supercab frame. Tomorrow I dig into wiring the two together so wondering what challenges I might face with connectors at the firewall. I was surprised my searches did not yield endless data from similar swaps. Anyone aware of major wiring challenges that might pop up?

donor cab was a 78 400 ci XLT Lariat type, fully loaded tilt and A/C truck. Chassis and engine are 75 base model 360 ci. Both 2WD and both column shift, automatic, disc brake trucks. Cabs lined up perfectly, of course, and steering looks close enough to manage. At first glance I am seeing connector differences but would like to avoid a major wiring swap. Hoping to just connect what is there. Although I do have both vehicles so could exchange harnesses if necessary.

any tips, or links I've missed, will be appreciated

Just a few things off the top of my head. Neutral safety switch is different, may be other differences in the steering column. Instrument panel connector, possibly fuel selector. Does the 75 have points or electronic distributor?
Why did you put 78 on the 75 frame?

Good info March, thanks. Hadn't thought of the N.S. Switch. I did the swap because the 75 was gutted of interior (other than dash, has rust, and dents on every panel. 78 Cab is rust free and dentless with a complete, nice interior but frame of that truck had been hacked for IRS install. I will still use the IRS frame to build a hot rod truck but I want the best stuff on my daily driver Supercab tow vehicle. The 75 engine has DUI so not sure if originally elect ign.

Instrument panel connector, same fuel tank selector valve & solenoid, same selector switch.

Does the 75 have points or electronic distributor?
Could have either.
DuraSpark electronic ignition introduced in 1974, but not all vehicles came with it until 1976.

ND - I left the steering column in the 78 cab and was hoping to simply connect the 78 column to the 75 steering box via the rag joint. Visibly they appear to line up. Good news about the selector as I do have functioning dual tanks. Seems the instrument panel connector may be the biggest issue. Are there enough different wires that switching pigtails would be a poor choice?
