Can't believe I'm actually asking...

...Anyone know a good mechanic in South Jersey who works on....Chevies? My old man has a 1998 Tahoe...it's a turd with tires. They have it at a place right now because it wouldn't start, and this guy is saying it's an intake mani leak. I've been home all weekend, and my brother-in-law, a GM mechanic was there all weekend, and we never saw a drop of orange anti-freeze. It sits overnight at this shop and this guy thinks we have a leak?

I wish they would've listened and started with the battery (it was 12║F here last week) because it's free to check, but now we have this guy looking at it and wanting to give her a tune up and a new intake manifold gasket...not cheap labor.

Any help at all is appreciated. It just seems that this truck is looked at like a fish in a casino, and they take it for all its worth every time. I just need a guy who I can trust to work on this thing.

Thanks guys....happy holidays.
