A Different Sort of Panel Truck Body Interchange

Rather than high jack last week's thread on Panel Truck Body Interchange, I'll post this for you guys to consider. How cool is a COE panel truck! I love it. This came from an article in the July 3, 2005, Kansas City Star newspaper. The truck was done/is owned by a fellow named Don Conchrane. I tried to find a good digital pic of the truck on the paper's web site but no luck. The top section is a sort of medium steel blue and the bottom is white. Enjoy! Stu

That is TOO COOL!!! I am fascinated with COE's and marrying one into a panel is awsome. I'll bet it's not just a bolt-up. The meatlwork looks super.

Stu, here is the link to photos of that truck, taken at the Back to the 50's show last summer. The photo is on paneltruck.com website.

I think it is very cool. I also love the old COE's. Here is another view of it that I found a while back: http://www.carnut.com/show/00/kkoa/kkoa323.jpg

I've seen it advertised for sale in the last few issues of the the Good Guys Gazette. I think that he's asking $22-23K.

Bob, this is the COE/Panel I've told you about sometime ago.

I've seen a couple of different panels done like this, one an older vintage Ford and a couple of the other brand. This is a sharp truck.
