'59 F-100 tailgate lettering question
What is the correct tailgate lettering for the '59?
It seems this truck has double raised letters, are each of the double raised lines painted, or does the paint go into the valley between these two raised lines?
I believe the color of the paint should be white, am I correct?

I believe the letters themselves are usually white.
