Nice SS HPOP cover!

My honey bought me this slick looking HPOP cover for Xmas. Beats that cheap looking black plastic piece!

yes, i have seen that on ITP diesel, and have been contemplating on buying it for a while now. i didnt want to get it yet, i wanted to spend money on the chip and gauges first. up next are polished intercooler tubes and painted 5-way horn plus some other things are on the list. wire loomed everything. that sure looks good, that is a nice avatar. this morning i took a pic like that of my underhood stuff, and i was going to make it into an avatar, but now i dont want to look like a copycat.

Make sure you go with the grain when you polish it, or you'll scratch it all up. Also consider rubber washers for the mounts.....makes the engine sound funny when the cover starts buzzing.

PSNut,

Nice!! Mine doesn't rattle like some of the others have stated, but I think rubber washers would not be a bad idea. Mine has been on mytruck now for 1 1/2- 2 years. Great product IMO!!

Sure is nice having a cover that adds to the aesthetic value of the engine compartment because that black POS doesn't do much. Now to start powder coating things!

No POS in the acronyms list. Lucky for me I'm old enough to know what it means.

Did you make that one? I know you make some great looking covers also among other things. Some of the newer folks (1 year or newer) don't know who makes what on this site.
