supercharging a 4.6

hi, i was looking into supercharging my 4.6 on my 98 f150. what i was wondering is if this is the same SOHC engine that was in the mustangs. If it is, would i be able to use a supercharger for the mustang on my truck?

thanks

They make specific ones for trucks because of the throttlebody possitions and such. If it is designed for a 98-earlier mustang, it would bolt to the engine, but alot of things would be in the wrong spot.
99-up use different heads.

This is if you are talking about one that is bolted to the top of the engine like a Cobra or Lightning.

Not really. I think Kenne-Bell may have one, not sure of the price though.
