I have a 98' expedition Eddie Bauer model and the compass is stuck in the south position. I have tried resetting it but it still doesn't work. Has anyone else had this problem? Please help me out.

 

never had the problem on the F150, but the Explorer does this once every 6 months. In the owners manual it said there is a pin hole next to the compass. you push a pin thru the hole, gauge starts blinking, then you drive around in a circle in a parking lot about 3 revolutions and it is "set". not sure on the F150, but probablyl says something similar in the book. Is this how you are resetting?
