400 turbo?

would a turbo from a 6.6 chevy diesel work on turboing one of my 400's? i think it would be pretty cool rollin the red truck off the trailer with some turbo whine, and runin the boggs watchin that boost gauge build, any insight?

I couldn't see why it wouldn't work - it will be a suitable size, you will just have to fab up some exhaust manifolds thats all, and re route the intake.

Well it depends on how much room you have for posistioning your turbo - you could just pipe the exhaust around to the turbo.

Not really anu truth to that, and that turbo will end up being a little small for a 400.

How high does that diesel rev compared to your 400, cid doen't mean anything. It's about how much exhaust you have. Two of those might work out, but I suggest a T4 for a single setup.

it may not do much for it at high rpms then, but i think it would help with low torque alot though.

Yes it would, but it will choke off performance up top.
