I have a 1997 F150 Supercab flareside short bed. Will the Lightning OEM tail lights that come on the 1999-2003 models fit on the 1997 F150 flareside?

 

Yes, w/ a few easy mods. The 2000?-later only have 2 plugs (1 backup and 1 brake/parking light), the 97-99 have 3 plugs (backup, parking, and brake/parking). Just wrap the extra plug in plastic and tape it up. The other mod is on the lower bolt. Your bolt is too long. You can either buy the correct one from your local dealership or add some washers to keep it from punching thru the taillight housing.
Ford didn't put the euro style tails on the 'L' until '01 or maybe '00, either way it will only have 2 bulbs.
